Fire isn't an ordinary cat, and his mother, Flame, realizes this even before his birth after the death of her other unborn kit. He is part of an ancient prophecy which no one knows about, except for mysterious ancestors older than those of the Clans and Tribes of Dawn Mountain. Many forces, some far away - like the Clan of Stars - and some much closer to home, seek to influence Fire and his counterparts from other territories of Dawn mountain.
